Many thanks for flipping, Marjorie! Lovely landscapes Jenny!
Ian Sidaway
Linda, I can’t take the credit, it was Tessa! Ian Sidaway’s painting is so good!
Jenny you have come up with some great painting they are all superb.
Great work on show here -  Richard Thorn and Camille Pisarro, to Ian Sidaway and Linda Wilson, and other wonderful Autumn paintings in between.     Incidentally - subjective view, but I still prefer Pisarro to Monet : sorry  Claude,  but then others will disagree.   I think this has to be my favourite time of year - starting out with the scoffing of blackberries in the hedgerows, to  seeing which of the trees will be the last to lose their leaves: the sycamores and limes seem to be the most durable and of the warmest colour, then the beeches and oaks.... even  a rangy old fig tree out in the garden is looking good, with magpies picking off the remaining figs.  Got to get painting!
For me the master of painting trees is Peder Mork Munsted , his woodland scenes are superb no matter what season he paints , however his autumn colours are just perfect in my humble opinion. I did have to stop myself for selecting far more, to get carried away with his  work .
an autumn thingy of mine done an acrylic a couple of years ago some lovely work on here
That’s lovely Sylvia… Another one of my oldies…pen ink watercolour  Kentish Oasts in Autumn
