Agree with Tony, there is something very peaceful about his work, especially his river scenes.
Here's another I like... 'Mallard rising'.
That interior scene posted by Lew, is most impressive  -  the best of them all in my opinion, and there’s some good work on display!
This interior scene of `Mallard Rising` is a really super painting.  I like all of his posted work, but this one really does it for me.
Yes, I like these.  I wonder if he does online demos?
What's not to like? A very fine artist.
He uses a lot of pale blues in his work - a peaceful effect. I do like his Venice,
Some lovely paintings from what I can see. And I a also like Lews choice.
Next weeks featuring artists are :  Shiihashi Kazuko and Dennis John Hanceri .
The Venice painting has beautiful colours in the sky - obviously the rest of the painting is fabulous, but that serenity we've talked about is often refelected in skies, and this one in particular is - well, superlatives exhausted: I think it's gorgeous, and if that doesn't mean much, well no it doesn't but I can't think of a better word...
