Welcome to this weeks thread , it’s week 156 , three years since Dawn posted the first thread to open the series, so many changes since then . I do wish that Dawn was here with us to celebrate, but unfortunately she isn’t but still a big thanks sent her way. The thread would have gone of course if it hadn’t been for my co pilot and navigator Jenny who had contributed so much , hope she will continue to support. Of course it would not be still running if it wasn’t for the support of the crew of contributors and regular participants, thank you all . On a personal note I have enjoyed running the thread despite the odd week of feeling that it was not working out , but I hasn’t stopped me yet . I’ve looked at so many artists and different styles of art thst I would never have done had I not been doing the research needed to present weekly threads . Have I been inspired you bet I have and often by artists I would not have thought, like most people there is some artwork that I’m not keen on or impressed with but respect the skill of the artist non the less. I was hoping to do something to mark the event but without Dawn I’m not able to run a competition, I would have asked her to judge  .  For this week I haven’t made a selection but thought you could choose who we should revisit from the last three years, there are several hundred to choose from. I an currently working on an alphabetical list thst I will post once it’s completed. I’m also challenging you to complete a paint in any medium you want, including digital art, collage etc  but in the style of one of the artist we have featured. You can also do one of there painting in your own style , this I personally would find easier as most of the artists I admire paint far to realistic for my skill level. I will end with a thanks  to you all and hope you continue to support the thread .
You have been brilliant Paul ,thank you and thank you to your sidekick Jenny…..you make a good team.
Thank-you to Paul and Jenny, yes you are brilliant, and to the others who have contributed to this thread. Keep up the good work!
Three years?! Keep it going please!
Great series Paul and three years have flown by. Credit also to Jenny, for her equally invaluable input!

I spend a lot of time looking at art of the internet, yet this series regularly throws up brilliant artists I've never seen  before.  It seems there's a inexhaustible supply of them.  Thank goodness for that.  Huge thanks to Paul and Jenny.
Thank you all for your kind comments, it’s because of the support from you guys that keeps the thread running. I have a very large list of artist we haven’t yet featured and will continue posting more if that what is wanted, please continue with you supporting as it’s what makes it worthwhile , even the not sure about this artists work comments help to direct me to find more stuff .  Please to think about the challenge and have a go at producing a something be nice to see something different from you as well .
Thank you Paul and Jenny for this thread and your hard work in giving us  Iso many artists that we wouldn’t have come across ourselves.
Congratulations, well done.
Keep up the good work, we really do appreciate it.

You both are to be congratulated for keeping this thread going so well for so long. It's the first thing I look at when tuning in to POL.  Well done Paul and Jenny.
Not always artists whose work I enjoy, but never dull.  I think the surprise that this thread is 3 years old is testimony to how fresh and welcome it is every week...and weekend bonuses too.  Thank you Paul and Jenny, and all who have contributed additional examples to expand the thread.
