As no-one has yet taken up Paul’s challenge - which if I recall was to either to paint a picture of our own in the style of an artist we admire, or to copy another artist’s painting in our own style - thought I might as well start it off.  Not a new one, but one of my early watercolours based on La Voile Persan, a painting by one of the Scottish Colourists, J.D. Fergusson - it was done for a similar challenge at one of my art club workshops some years ago. And the painting by J.D. Fergusson -

It’s seemed very strange this week  due to not posting artists work, thank you all or your support it’s u h appreciated  Next week’s artists are : Paul Gaugan and Saul Robertson, I will open the thread as usual on Sunday evening.
