I love the second Van Gogh drawing, would never have guessed it was drawn by him. The John Cooney portraits are terrific

Excellent choice Tessa they are lovely sketch’s . Carole my understanding is that as you are not selling them or claiming them as your own work and are actually demonstrating the artists skill thus promoting his work there would be no issue posting them . I did discuss the legalities with Dawn when we first started the series of threads and what I have said is basically what we discussed after she had checked it out .

Wow Jenny, Carol and Tessa you have posted some excellent sketch between you, they are all super and very different. Definitely showing the versatility of the three artists and how good they are at sketching.

I’m not a great fan of Van Gough, his paintings don’t do a great deal for me but I’ve become a fan of his sketch’s . They demonstrate to me what a superb artist he actually was , I don’t doubt his painting skills I just don’t particularly like them.  And a very rare portrait.

On an apparently lighter note, these drawings are by Gary Andrews as part of The Big Draw which was started some years ago to start people drawing or get them back into it after a break. Worth a look!
