My local arts society organises series of workshops with local artists over the winter months and Iam due to attend the first of three tomorrow - on pastels - and was really looking forward to it but now....? Not sure whether it is the broken wrist which is uncomfortable at the moment - or whether it is just the usual lack of confidence but I am aware that I am starting to make excuses not to go... To every one my husband finds a response - enouraging me to go and solving these non existent problems. He is acting as bag carrier (one problem solved) will unload my materials and set everything up(problem 2) will pick me up early if my energy levels flag (problem 3) help I am running out of excuses!
