After being on a short holiday with our 6 grand-children, we came home yesterday evening. And... surprise: there was a letter from the UK in our letterbox. I had been chosen by Ingrid Lyon, editor of Leisure Painter, as one of her ten winners. I think I screemed it out like a teenage-girl!!! This is the first prize I have ever won with one of my paintings!!! I do not know how many entries there were but my postcard was selected, and ... as Roger Blackwell (another winner) says: we will have no excuse of a shortage of watercolour paper!
