Having made the commitment to blog more regularly (at least once a month) it is suddenly August and I missed July completely! I hope everyone enjoyed the e-newsletter bonus features from our regular gallery users - Thea, Lesley, Charles, Michael, Robert and Paula - i found their articles really interesting and full of useful painting advice. I will certainly be asking more of our POL artists to contribute in future! Well it is now August, although the weather isn't really telling us that fact except on the odd occasion, and we have just planned our office summer outing! Last year we had a lovely day at Leeds Castle where we watched an open air performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream - the weather was perfect and we had a fantastic time with a delicious picnic on the grass. This year it will be a bit different but we are all so excited! We are all off on a VIP safari at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park on the 23rd August, followed by a meal in the beautiful mansion. Most of us are here at POL are real animal lovers and can't wait to see giraffes, zebras and gazelles roaming the plains of Kent! And top it all off the mansion is absolutely full of animal paintings - some rooms have murals covering every wall and ceiling. So even though we will be away from the magazines for the day we will still be surrounded by lovely artwork and we will to get some photos to share with you in the copyright free images area.
