The poppies in my garden are amazing at the moment so off I went to pick one to paint. I got quite side tracked with the iris's so I painted those instead. The flowers are just so lovely at the moment .Everything coming up roses..... and weeds all of the wet we have had has made these spring upwards and outwards. This year we have left a chunk of lawn to just grow and naturalise and at the moment it is a mass of cow parsley. Hopefully all the little creatures will have a haven. I really cannoydo with people shooting squirrels and rabbits... I must admit I am a bit if a tree hugger. So they all now know where to come and hide... but pity help the bun that eats my lettuces.
