Watercolour Painting Holiday Workshop with International Artist, Amanda Brett

Lucca Italy 12-19 May 2018

"Thank you very much for a wonderful week in Lucca. You taught me to look much more closely at the environment I'm in and gave me as a beginner the confidence to keep painting. We also loved the social program and interaction with other participants". Wendi 6 days and 7 nights of painting glorious Lucca!! 12-19 May 2018 My annual pilgrimage to paint in Italy always includes Lucca - its beauty never ceases to amaze me! Located in the heart of Tuscany, Lucca is a slower pace and is full of history and sights including the passeggiata di mura and L'anfiteatro! My painting holiday workshops in Lucca are all about the fun of painting in a supportive group environment and is suitable for all levels. Mostly, we'll be painting en plein air (a nice quiet locale in which to play with our paints!) and enjoying the fresh air. I know Lucca like the back of my hand and will take you to some of my favourites spots to paint!! All your luxury B&B accommodation, meals (alcohol not included), gratuities, excursions (as available) and transfers (via Pisa International Airport) are included as is my tuition for the week. Every day we'll head out to one of my favourite spots and then to one of Lucca's great cafes for lunch, take a siesta and then out to sketch and paint later in the afternoon. When we're ready for dinner, Lucca's favourite dining spots will be waiting for us with a special menu just for us! This workshop is suitable for any level of experience but some drawing experience will be useful. There is so much in Lucca to inspire that we will find something for everyone to draw and paint. "Thank you Amanda for your inspiring and enjoyable painting tuition. You gave such encouragement, seeking out the parts of my work that were "juicy, brilliant and cool." I feel I have learnt so much in our week and would love to join you again. Lucca sounds great. It's the kiwi in you that makes you such an open minded artist." Fondest regards, Noelene
