So looking forward to Saturday I am going to our local theatre and having the fun of sitting in the auditorium watching a rehearsal of the Welsh National Ballet. We are allowed to take photographs and to sit and sketch . It just sounds a great opportunity.... I am now contemplating what to use . It will all be very rapid and I know it will be a case of just drawing and not looking at my work until it is finished I think I might take wax crayons and thick sketching pens....or should I take brush and wash or should I just take a pencil ...or should I take.......whatever. Hopefully it will be more than scribble's and will post anything worth the effort. A bonus is that we get to see the full peformance in the evening. The sketch I have attached to this is an evrning in a Scotish pub last Easter , with a small group of musicians having a happy time. I sat and happily sketched them .
