The Final Throw of The (Paper) Dice!

Referring to my two previous posts about the problems of getting some Fabriano paper out of Jacksons Art ,having failed to understand how Parcel Force could have delivered a parcel of Fabriano paper to me that I (a) didn't receive, (b) have no packaging from, (c) have no delivery document and most importantly (d) have no ruddy paper, has been beyond me. Calls to Parcel Force and Jackson's have not produced the said paper. So, on Wednesday I decided to place an order for the Fabriano Extra White (which I had been trying to get my hands on all the time) which was apparently due in on 9 August. As it seems to come in and then fly back out again, I thought my best plan was to place an order now so that when it did arrive I would be at the front of the queue. I also decided yesterday to order a couple of sheets of the 300lb Fabriano Traditional (the creamy coloured one) just to tide me over until the Extra White turned up. I phoned Jackson's and told them what I had done. Today, a couple of heavyweight van drivers from Parcel Force tripped up my drive carrying two identical parcels, just the right shape to hold imperial sized paper. What was going on, I thought?? I think the men came as a pair in case I cut up rough about where my other delivery had gone, but I am a peaceable soul so there wasn't really any risk to their life and limb. Both parcels contained Fabriano 300lb paper. One had Extra White in (???) and one contained the Traditional paper that I had ordered the day before. However, the Extra White parcel wasn't the missing one, it was the one from my Wednesday back order. I checked on Jackson's site to see if the Fabriano Extra White had suddenly come into stock, which would explain why some turned up on my doorstep this morning. However, no - it is still due in on 9th August? What is going on?? Anyway, I have my paper. It will remain a complete mystery what happened to the original parcel of 300lb paper and an ever bigger mystery how I can have paper delivered that is out of stock (a telephone call yesterday also confirmed that Jackson's had none of the Extra White left even in their shop). I am beginning to feel that I live in the Bermuda Triangle! P.S. We must be fated because a delivery of printer cartridges was coming out from Amazon to us via UPS couriers. It didn't arrive and when we tracked it yesterday, it said that it had been delivered to us at 11.45 yesterday morning. It hadn't - because we were here and I think we would have noticed a big brown van with UPS emblazoned on the side of it. On calling UPS, we were informed that it had been delivered to our neighbour (house is about 200yds away down a hill) and given to the gardener. They don't have a gardener and both occupants were out at work (one a doctor, one a teacher) all day, so there was no-one at their house. The driver had a signature of someone called Dell for the parcel - no-one has a clue who that is. If we don't live in the Bermuda Triangle, then definitely Village of the Dammed in respect of white van man!
