I am an artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. I have lived in Australia since 1970 when I came over from Liverpool with my family. Having dabbled on an off during the past 30 years I became more serious about my painting about 5 years ago. Since then I have gained some recognition as an award winning artist in South Australia as well as having a couple of articles published in the Australian Artist magazine. I have also appeared on Adelaide TV on the lifestyle program Discover in 2008. I paint mainly in acrylic, which I like because of the speed of drying and its forgiving nature! I work quickly from my shed/studio at home. I love the Australian light, particularly at the beach and also the reflections of rain in the city.
