Dear Art Blog Friends Have you ever wondered what it would be like to turn back the clock and celebrate your 18th birthday again? Imagine how you felt back then: so full of energy, enthusiasm and a unique zest for life. My post today on www.suburbanartjam.com is a portrait of Aftab Mohamed who, as a family, we befriended on Facebook some 19 months ago. His coloured pencil work is maturing at a fast pace and he has produced some time lapses videos of this on YouTube. His subjects are mainly portraits of famous, contemporary CP artists and a few celebrities to showcase his fine art talent, however, as a special treat to help him celebrate his 18th birthday, I decided to produce a CP portrait, but keep it as a surprise until his big day.
