Weird - my entries don't seem to be on the blog anymore - well I can't find them. My art group has finished plein air outings for the summer and am already missing it. Have to decide now whether I am going to motivate myself enough to go out on my own painting. It is a lovely morning today in darkest Essex, next week am going to Highgrove in Gloucestershire, no cameras or recording devices allowed - but I am going to take a little sketch pad. I think some of my oil sketches could evolve in to better more finished paintings, yet I find that stage very difficult to move on to. I have lots of sketches, and photos so really there is no excuse.
