I am an amateur artist recovering from a spine operation just before Christmas 2019 and found that my recuperation didn't allow me to sit for any length of time. So, I dug out my old art materials which hadn't been used for several years since a house move meant I lost my studio space and set up a high bench in our family room where I could move about while painting. I found that I still loved to be creative, though not necessarily very good, and that as well as going back to some of my tried and trusted materials and techniques I had the time to experiment and try other media. The artwork in my gallery is a mix of older framed paintings done years ago when recovering from an earlier hospitalisation and newer paintings and sketches done since Christmas. Now that coronavirus lockdown is with us I have had much more time to investigate the PaintersOnline site and the features that membership has given me and so I'll try and use it and my time productively. All feedback and constructive criticism welcome. I'm enjoying seeing others' works too. I'm still very new to the site so I may not be using it quite as planned until I work out what to put where and how to use it to the best! So please bear with me.
