Enjoy my 'Red Hot Poppies!' This was my best selling print last year, 2017, and a favourite also this year. We had a bumper year again, in my gallery, it was amazing! We had to get through it with my boyfriend being ill in hospital twice and trying to keep a fully booked B&B going as well. But, the gallery excelled hitting a top number of published cards being sold in my gallery and around the outlets of the Islands of Lewis and Harris. Prints sales also increased since the credit crunch. We were serving even more walkers doing the Hebridean Way. It is now a known designated walk and cyclists' run. It starts on the Uists and crosses over to the Isle of Harris then to the butt of Lewis past the Callanish Stones. We peaked with the number of customers coming in for light snacks and cream teas. I was baking scones late in the evenings to keep up for the next day. It was absolutely fabulous!
