Practical tip for keeping your Acrylic Paint moist while working on a painting.

Get or buy two white plastic ice trays. Find a plastic container in which the ice trays can fit, either side by side or on top of each other. It is important that the lid of the plastic container must be able to seal properly when closed. Place a few layers of wet paper towel on the base of the plastic container. Mix the acrylic colours that you will be using in your painting and place each individual colour in an empty ice compartment of the plastic ice tray. If you do not premix your colours, squeeze out the relevant colours from the acrylic paint tubes into the empty ice compartments. Remove the relevant paint from the ice tray as you need it, but keep the plastic container's lid on. Acrylic paint stored in this way, lasts for months on end and accordingly prevents expensive waist of paint drying out. I only use 6 Acrylic colours, plus white and premix my palette. This tip works extremely well for me. I am hoping that it will benefit some one else as well. Kind regards, Marashene.
