I have read several articles on 'pen & colour wash' but the writers have not said whether they initially use pencil before inking in. I would have thought this was necessary otherwise you cannot rub out miskakes on the ink sketch. Anybody care to comment? Also, do you paint first and then ink in or visa versa.?
