My last post showed my pastel picture of 'Coming Home to Tenby'. I have now had another go at this scene but in my favoured medium of acrylics and at a larger size, 24x24". I am much happier with this, though I am not sure if it is finished yet, and I am really glad I did the pastel version as a preliminary sketch as it helped me with composition. I will keep persevering with pastels as I think I can make them work for me. I have found them to be perfect preliminary studies to check composition and this way I still get to practise with them!
