I went to a pastel class on Friday and was introduced to Hermes sandpaper for the first time. Should have thought really. I use my fingers to blend the pastel on paper. It hurts on sandpaper. Trouble is you don't realise until you wash the pastel off! I've now got sores on three fingers and a distinct lack of finger prints. Lesson learnt...I either need a new way of blending or a different support.
