yes I do paint -but this is a short story -and a true one. A few years ago whilst working on a Gas Rig for British Gas we were absolutely gobsmacked to have Aneka Rice (beautiful TV celeb)arrive to do a commercial for TV. The weather turned bad and the return flight was cancelled.She had to stay onboard in the accomodation platform. I didnt know about this until the next morning -I worked in the control room arganising work-welding ,fitting ,repairs ,etc etc -so I was waiting for one guy to complete this task -he was unusually late. He arrived 30 minutes lae flushed and out of breath -"where have you been" He then babled out this sordid tale about chasing the Steward in order to grab Anekas Sheets and pillow cases before they went into the laundry.He planned to raffel them off £1,oo each ticket !!!! I was disgusted ,told him so in no uncertain terms -you do that offshore -its the norm -I told him that she was a beautiful guest,should be treated with every courasy and respect,Her privacy should be the least we could offer her under the circumstances.Yes I scolded him good and proper . I bought 5 tickets -and didnt win :o)
