Well it was all going swimmingly! The boards were down, the vinyl laid, all on course for flooring to be finished by close of play today and then the phone call ..... 'Your carpets have gone to Dartford by mistake!' So all is peaceful here in Tenterden this afternoon, the carpet fitters have gone home leaving bare boards, the furniture and fittings piled in corners and everything else piled on all available surfaces! Oh yes and the front door is stuck! Ingrid has just had to phone the office for the rest of us to go and help her get back in after lunch!
