Tuesday sees the nailing down of boards over our very wonky floors, to allow a nice flat surface for the new carpets. This entails the use of a nail gun (a steady, loud, banging noise) this is being powered by a compressor ( even more noise) and the inability to walk in various areas of the office! The hairdressers below us have reported light bulbs falling from their fittings! But outside the sun is shining, the birds are singing (not that we can hear them in here!) and all is well with the world! Just as we have everything off the floors piled on to whatever higher level surface we can find, the May magazines have arrived! We love our first glimpse of the finished article each month, it is always very exciting. This month however we are wondering where to balance all the boxes! But don't worry the magazines will be on their way to subscribers as usual and progress on the June magazines is well underway - we wouldn't let a little office refit hinder us!
