Today I leave to go down to Burford, in the Cotswolds, for a week long course with the great American watercolourist, Charles Reid. It has taken me two years to get a place on one of his courses, so I am really looking forward to it and hope to come home armed with better techniques for painting, and more importantly, for decision making. In my wisdom, I have managed to book a house for us to stay in (husband and dog coming too, but not painting - well the husband isn't - dog may turn out to be very talented lol!) that doesn't have any form of internet signal or connection - dur! So the laptop, iPads, iPhones etc etc etc will be kaput for the week. I was planning to write a daily blog on here of how each day has gone and what tips and gems I had picked up. This may still be possible as apparently if you walk down the street and stand in the middle of the village green, then there is a bit of signal! If I can't find any vestige of the land of the living I will have to wait until I come home. Apologies to all those who post on the gallery - I am not ignoring you, but will have a massive catch up when I come back next Saturday.
