Well, the start of the new academic year marks the start of some new classes I'm running in Thurrock and Brentwood. I've been asked to run art classes at the new Thameside Nature Reserve in Thurrock starting in October. www.wildlifetrusts.org/living.../thurrock-thameside-nature-park I'm very excited about this, the reserve is wonderful for bird watchers and artists alike! There's a great view from the top of the centre which has a spiral ramp that wraps around the outside of the building to give access to panoramic 360 degree views across Essex and Kent! I'll be taking students sketching as well as working inside the centre. I already have two regular classes there on Monday and Thursday afternoons, as well as one at the Beehive in Grays and two corporate classes for Ford motor company in Dunton and Warley. I'll soon be starting an elephant painting after being approached by an animal lover connected to an elephant rescue charity in Thailand, it will go for auction to raise funds for their charity. So I need to get a wriggle on and finish my current commission of aWW2 veteran papratrooper!
