The day will be looking at painting village landscapes. I will demonstrate how to build your scene starting with the initial sketch, blocking in colour and texture through to bring the scene to life with shadows. You will start the day in the gallery with a coffee while I take you through the basic principals. Should weather permit we will move outside where I will demonstrate and offer individual help as you work on your own subject stopping for lunch an hour around 12.30 PM. If you don't have your own packed lunch then eat in one of the many places on the village green, including the Fox pub or Winners. After a relaxing lunch soaking up the village atmosphere you can return to make those finishing touches. We will end the day in the Gallery to finish the day analysing the days work.
