I Have just put the brush down on a watercolour of Mo Farah winning 5000 m gold to do something that's been needing doing for ages-a gentle induction to the technological age. As I get more adept at interwebbing so you'll see more of my art work. Good thing or bad? I'll leave you to decide.

Hi Patsy you do make it difficult to keep up...I simply run one blog for the whole month [unless a special pops up]...Hector would keep his head...the base is the weapon...Thank you for your kind comments re Mountain Basilica...I left a reply there for you...

Agrees with Ruthy...bananas & grapes can have a nasty surprises lurking...rolling pin to the ready...as questions & identify the remains later is Meltemi's policy...

You shoudl see the things that keep running out from under our skirting boards from next door. Even teh dogs run away from them. They must be at least 2" across. I agree, thank goodness we don't have dangerous ones although some of them do do nasty bites. I encourage spider webs (keep the flies out) but don't like the hunting types.

Fearless Meltemi armed with Hector would smash the burgers to bits...No I do not do spiders...supreme bravery for The Memsahib's benefit [gawd knows how loud her shrieks will be with my hearing aids]...I will pick them up & toss them out of the door...if they let me catch them...failing that a decisive stomp...

oh god thats big............glad england only has tiny ones(checks the room and the bunch of bannas) take care..........

Like the concept of eating the chaps after mating. All good protein for all the baby spiders! Patsy we Evanses are also common as muck , did you join Face book? Keep safe. Sylvia.

What a whopper Patsy, how do you react to finding one indoors. I don't allow the large ones in the house just get himself to eject them if they try. Dont mind the little ones but the biggies freak me out. We don't kill them either but then we don't get the dangerous ones..............YET.......... I hear there are scorpions in the south.
