Just a quick one today - Mel., aka Phil Kendall, has more than once asked if there was ever a Mr Bright, after whom the Bright brush (also known as a chisel or short flat) is named. Well, I have a feeling it was the Norwich School painter Henry Bright, ca. 1810 - 1873 - unless ...... you know better?
