Time's flown by since our last post, and boy things have changed here. Once again, Tenterden is 'doing Christmas' - the (new and improved) twinkly lights are hanging from the trees, the shop across the road has a fabulous snow machine (well ok, its polystyrene balls, but from here it looks good!) in the window... it's feeling very festive. I wonder if the cold weather makes you feel more Christmassy too? We've definitely had a lot of that recently. The subs dept has dug out their super-thick socks from the bottom of the drawer. Desperate times, desperate times... We do however have the comfort of a warm mince pie in the mornings now. As you might remember from last year, December's here and the 2009 Mince Pie Trials are on. We spotted that The Times recently did a 'best mince pie contest' feature. I wonder where they got that idea from...
