The June issues of Leisure Painter and The Artist arrived at the office yesterday afternoon. With so many things nowadays being sent electronically, emails, photographs and so on, I find it very satisfying to see real pages with the articles on. Even if I have seen the pdf’s, jpegs, tiffs etc numerous times before, you can’t beat the real thing! Take a look at our subscription offers to save money on your magazines. Despite the weather having turned very cold here in Kent, signs of spring are increasing. We have a bird’s nest in the roof here in Tenterden and from Ingrid’s office we can hear the chicks cheeping loudly as the parents return with food. The house martins are also back, swooping over the High Street. And has anyone else noticed the abundance of wildflowers this year? The primroses and wood anemones are giving way and the woods are now carpeted with blue. There is a brilliant step-by-step project by Jane Ward of a bluebell wood for you to follow in Leisure Painter. Just hope the weather warms up again soon so we can get out and enjoy it!
