I have not logged on to Painters Online for several months now. When I checked my gallery, only one painting came up, so I added 3 paintings again and now I seem to have two galleries. I'm sure it will sort itself out as the gallery name remains the same. After the Alice exhibition, I did not have time for painting as I spent some time in the UK after the arrival of a new grandson at the end of September. On my return to South Africa, my father, who had cancer, became terminal and sadly he died mid November. Not only was he my father, but also a wonderful friend. He has always greatly encouraged me. I have now been busy completing a set of paintings for our local library. The library moved into new premises. They receive limited funding and so have approached several artists to voluntary donate paintings to brighten up the library walls. I have completed 3 large paintings for the children's section and have 3 more to complete. The project is most enjoyable and touches the heart of the 58 year old child in me. I have been blessed to be part of a group exhibition again in July 2010 at the Alice Art Gallery. As soon as the last 3 of the library paintings have been completed, I need to start working on the paintings for the exhibition. I pray that every one at Painters Online will be blessed with fresh creativity and energy for 2010. We have all received a measure of talent from our Heavenly Father and may you all enjoy working with your talent and increasing the measure of it.
