"Lamby Back" as opposed to "Piggy Back" See my blog pic. I took this last year of one of the lambs and its mum across the road to me. Sorry it is slightly out of focus. The new lambs are beginning to appear, a pair of twins and an only child. This lot might want fur coats not placky macs this year. There are also some hens running in ever decreasing circles in the same field, some are quit big and white..easily mistaken for a lamb in the distance, that is until you notice that it has a red comb and clucks. Old age and senility are just around the corner. We are blessed with a smidgen of weak sunshine at the moment so I am counting my blessings , and looking out my boots and warm woolly pants. Maybe just maybe I might get enticed up into the hills with my paints and brushes.............................
