I haven't been painting at all for two or three weeks now as I can't stand and even sitting at my easel is extremely painful. I spent most of last week nipping backwards and forwards to hospital for various scans, x-rays, blood tests and examinations and am still not much wiser. Got to have more scans and such next week before there will be anything definite to tell but there is a nasty in my hip joint after all. All very urgent as the consultant's secretary is making my appointments by phone. No waiting for the Royal Mail which isn't very reliable these days. The GP has had a telling off from the consultant and he'd better look out because I'm seeing him tomorrow. Will update you when I have more to tell. Off to bed now after taking the million tablets.
