Just had a phone call to give me a date for an op on my right eye.. My vision is quite distorted with that eye, everything blurry and wavy , a bit like those funny mirrors at the fair ground I have had a bleed at the back of my eye andits created a bump or swelling. So laser hasn't worked I am going to have a capsule of steroid injected….and I am PETRIFIED. its very new op so no reall stastistics on how well it works, or not. I have a feeling I am being a bit of a guinea pig. But on a positive note, the week beforeI am off to Holy island with a group of painty people to paint birds and castles and seascapes.. I tend to paint with one eye closed at the moment, hence a lack of stuff in my gallery. Harris was wonderful and did some sketches there. super weather and amazing beaches. So watch this space I shall let you know what happens. Both in Lindesfarne and on the 28 th. Gulp.
