Hi, I thought I'd say hello all. Haven't had a minute to spare lately. Been busy with the Arts Group arranging workshops & exhibitions. The one in Kimberley Library comes down on Monday next and another goes up in Durban House on the 18th., providing the place is still available. Himself has been asked to represent the Community Forum, a group of well meaning volunteer organisers, representatives of local groups such as photographers, artists, writers, embroiderers, D.H.Lawrence worshippers etc., on a steering group for Durban House in order to fight our battle even harder. Keep your fingers crossed. The Art Club, of which I am just a member, have been having extra sessions for workshops lately and I have been struggling to fit them in. Been working hard with my 1 - 1 student who likes to paint with watercolour & acrylics. Not at the same time. She wanted to paint a tulip this week in w/col. I expect she'll want to do something in acrylics next week. Hey Ho!!! We are well into the planning stages for the Eastwood Arts Festival which happens in July each year and I've been asked to organise the exhibition, an outdoor painting workshop a demo by an artist friend of mine plus an all day workshop. Busy, busy, busy. Will it never stop??? I'm putting a in a sketch that I did whilst running an outdoor workshop. It was lunch time and things were quiet so I looked around for something and this was just across the road. Sweet, isn't it? Oh dear it's a bit small, I'll put it on the gallery and make it bigger.
