JUST A QUICKIE

Thanks for your comments all. Glad you like the pic. My life has been a real whirl during the past couple of weeks. The exhibition has gone well and I was taken by himself to remove my paintings from the library this afternoon. Just made it home in time. The snow was blizzing fast and we only just made it up the drive after three abortive attempts. It's still falling and I don't think we'll be going anywhere tomorrow. A photographer came during the morning of the 22nd. to take shots of me painting and filmed some footage, if that's the correct term these days, for an award presentation on behalf of the library. I was also interviewed in the afternoon by a writer who will be producing the written part of the submission. I have to go back later for further filming on Feb. 12th. It never stops, it seems. I had a few visitors during the morning, it was raining with a vengeance but the afternoon brought better weather and lots more people with interest in art and I managed to attract some extra members for the Arts Group. My birthday last week, got taken out for a posh lunch. Had some serious dental treatment on Friday so I'm not feeling on top of the world right now. Got a thumping headache. The Photo, I took it, is of my West Country Applecake, better than any birthday cake. I made it, wish you could taste it. Cheerio, be back soon. M.
