THOUGH YOU MIGHT LIKE THE NEWS ~ Went to see the consultant yesterday and, AT LAST, someone has seen the error of their ways. They've been looking at my x-rays incorrectly. The man, on second thoughts, realised he was checking the hip on his left and not the opposite, as you do when facing a person. What do you know? He found some reason for my troubles at last. There are also trapped nerve roots in my spine due to what you call 'slipped discs'. Changed my pain relief and is going to inject the hip joint under x-ray so as to hit the right spot. Got to see the boss man regarding the spine and it's been marked URGENT. Haven't been painting at all this week because the pain has been unbearable. Hope to be able to resume shortly. Best Wishes to All. M. WED. 30/09/09 Had a call from my consultant's secretary this morning OFFERING AN APPOINTMENT IN 2 WEEKS TIME. I BLUBBED AND SHE GOT ME IN NEXT WEEK INSTEAD. I THINK I'VE WAITED LONG ENOUGH.
