Just moved to the West Highlands of Scotland and, as well as learning about the local life, I am relising what a wealth of subject matter there is iin the landscape of sea and mountains that surround me. It's almost daunting but it's so inspirational too. Nov. 2008 It's a while since I introduced myself and we have now spent just over a year in our new home. I am painting more than ever and have sold a number recently. I am using panoramic format blocks a lot lately and find them very good to paint on, they are just as effective in vertical as in horizontal format as long as the subject suits the format!
