Hello readers, I've been very busy recently out painting in the open air, making the best use of the good weather and creating a few works of art for up-coming exhibitions. I've just sold my first work this year, and hope to build on that sale next Sunday, when I exhibit my efforts on the railings at Broadstairs, along with other local painters. We have seven such occasions this summer, as members of the Broadstairs and St Peters Arts Group. Some of us also go out weekly to paint together in small groups. Do you paint outdoors? I think it leads to a certain freedom of expression? What do you think? Julian
