On TV when someone is envisaged as an artist, they are seen sitting outside on a stool with with a sea view or a country view in the background, brush in hand. This is not me. I might be sitting but often it is indoors, infact it is always indoors. I do not use a brush aleast not often. I paint with a palette knive in oils or acrylic. Often paint can be seen on my face where I have brush my hair from my face not thinking, but then you might think how can paint get from the knive to the face? Of course it gets there from paint covered fingers. Tidy I am not. It all part of enjoying the great thrill of creating a painting.
