MONDAY, 20 AUGUST 2012 FLATFORD MILL PAINTING HOLIDAY AUGUST 2012 After 10 months of planning, 17th of August finally came for me to host a 3 day painting holiday at Flatford Mill field studies center on the Suffolk / Essex boarder, and after months of miserable cold rain, the weather broke, days before our painting holiday to reveal clear blue skies, and record high temperatures reaching as high as 34 degrees or so, and hotter than Turkey where a couple of learners had just returned from. These weather conditions allowed me to stick with plan A, and paint outdoors, which is what both spring and summer term were preparing for, however I had a plan B up my sleeve just in case it rained.
