It seems like an age since I have posted anything but although I still can't paint for long I have just finished the largest painting I have ever attempted, 1150mm x 370mm ,The odd size is because it has to fit into a panel outside the building where the Joondalup community arts group meet, its rather a nondescript building / gallery so a group of member artists and myself each have a panel to paint, hopefully they will brighten up the building and draw attention to the gallery, The panel is made of Cement Fibre approx. 4mm thick and sealed and prep coated before we do our thing, it shouldn't warp or move like ply might but we will see , I want to thank the POL members who wished me well and I would like to read your comments on this latest effort of mine as I was completly out of my comfort zone I didn't plan much and did no prelim.drawing,I just let it grow drawing only with the brush. and I had fun doing it,I call it 'Faces in the crowd' see how many you recognise. best wishes to all.
