I am progressing with my self portrait. Haven't managed to do much with it today and still struggling with the dark smudges underneath. Worked on the eyes. I think I've made a good job so far, although the colour isn't right, my eyes aren't that green so will need to darken them somewhat. The good thing about doing a self portrait is that it is as good as plastic surgery. Suddenly I can make my huge nose alot smaller and more how I'd like it to be and my eyes can be nice and even. I also don't have to put those wrinkles around the eyes if I don't want to. It's so hard getting out of bed in this freezing weather. Its been really hard getting the children out of bed as well. I have to hold my hand up and count down from 5 then go for it. My younger son swore he was up this morning because his feet were sticking out. Speaking of younger sons, his friend has got Beatles rock band and he wants me to download a long list of Beatles songs from Itunes. He is only 9 and its funny hearing him singing Twist and Shout. It brought memories back of my dad singing Beatles songs when we were younger. We went on You Tube and watched some of the old videos. I can remember my dad singing I've just seen a face I can't forget the time or place where we just me....
