Hi, I had a really interesting weekend. The Sunday workshop was poorly attended, I know the weather was awfully cold but we moved indoors where it was cosier and spent the time enjoyably. Today, Monday, lots more people of all ages turned up and most worked outdoors. Two people came on both days, one being the gentleman from my arts group who is visually impaired and, at present is doing Canal Art on any metal items he can lay his hands on. The other, a member of another local art club had begun a painting on Sunday afternoon and came in today to finish it. She brought along two friends who joined in. The photographers who represent our local newspapers came by to photograph us. I met some really nice people renewed acquaintances from the past. My exhibition is attracting attention and people are going in just to view it. Wish someone would buy something. They are all finding something that they just love but aren't opening their wallets. I don't think they're overpriced but you can't tell what the others are thinking. The donations for the Mayor's charity prize draw are coming in and I'll be sitting in Eastwood on Saturday with my little jar with a hole in it's lid and the painting. Wish me luck.
