Just tomorrow to go, then the art courses are finished for the summer. Tomorrow evening we are painting outdoors for once which is not only a challenge but also an enrichment. This is really what it is all about - difficult or not. So far I have had no success at all painting directly outside but I will keep on trying. We are meeting up at a riverside as part of a watercolour course with the title "Stones" I have sent for the postcard paper to enter the "wish you were here " competition. That again should be painted outside and directly so I will give it a whack when I am on holiday. I think the stimulation which Leisure Painter gives with these sort of ideas is great. It doesn't cost anything but gets you thinking. (I have the feeling my English is seriously deteriorating! I must do something about that. )
