As people involved in the painter-online website, can I suggest that you post a very visible notcice to tell members who start a blog that they have to post their first comment to be able to get replies and comments. An awful lot of people seem to post their introductory piece and then nothing else. I think, like me, that they then sit there and wait for people to make contact, which of course they cannot do until a first comment is posted. I am new to the blog and I had to email the editor to find out why I could not put a comment on a blog that does not have a first diary entry. This is not clear from the instructions and I notice that a lot of people on the forum have noticed this issue and feel it needs addressing. The feeling is that this is a glitch whcih needs sorting out. Many thanks for listening.
