Did I tell you the one about the Cheerfull ladies doing the conga around the equator ???? (Ive lost the pics) All the local folk thought we were quite mad. So sad I seem to have eliminated those photos. Kenya was wonderful. Big distances, big skies ,huge amounts of wonderful animals. Sat on top of the land cruiser sketching a randy Lion....! I did feel a bit like a peeping tom. Sat by the lake side and painted Flamingos... so beautiful. Peered out at Girraffes, Rhino, Gnus, Impala , Zebra, Baboons... the list goes on and on , did my best to record them into my sketch book. Shrieked in terror as a HUGE centipede fled from the knickers in my suitcase. Lovely Massi warrior kept watch on the doorstep of our tent to keep the Ellies and Hippos at bay... I feel so very privileged. We truly do live in a wonderful world.
