Hi. I'm writer, poet, artist, interpreter and tutor, above all, Christian person. I think in all of my years on planet earth, I've been doing everything and anything to keep busy and the only thing consistent about my life has always been, inconsistency. Don't get me wrong, its not that I am inconsistent, just the events that unfold in my life... actually, maybe its just me...? As a result, to keep sane, I paint, I write, and I pray, not necessarily in any particular order. I am a product of South Africa, however, I now live in England. I used to teach (languages) for about 8 years, then decided the abuse I got from the children, was not worth it all. I will channel my knowledge and energies somewhere more rewarding, I hope. I'm a bashful sort of extrovert, and people generally assume the role I adopt of quiet calm, is a form of shyness, until they say/do something stupid that is... I'm hoping to find direction or "be discovered" whatever that may be...and hopefully, in this lifetime, leave a reminder of the beauty that exists all around us, and inside, if only we look hard enough, and apreciate it for what it is. I think perhaps gratitude, is the first step towards contentment, which is better than a poke in the eye with a short sharp stick...ouch.
