Well, following on from my whinge about my batting average in producing half decent paintings, I had another go at the one of lambs. I gave myself a good talking to - concentrate, stop being so sloppy, think about what you are trying to achieve - you know the sort of thing . It was a bit like listening to my mother moaning about my shortcomings. However, it did the trick and I did do another sheep and lamb painting for the POL competition which I was quite pleased with. I've entered it into the competition but hold out little hope of it finding favour as I may be a lot of things, but I am most definitely not an animal artist. Apart from my race horse paintings, I think I have painted dogs twice in my life - hardly much experience. However, hope springs eternal and perhaps sheep might turn out to be my forte?!
